Matthew 4vs
1-11
Then Jesus
was led by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After
He had gone without food for forty days and forty nights, He became hungry. And
the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that
these stones become bread.” But Jesus replied, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
word that comes out of the mouth of God.’” Then the
devil took Him into the holy city [Jerusalem] and placed Him on the pinnacle
(highest point) of the temple. And he said [mockingly] to Him, “If You are the
Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning You [to serve, care
for, protect and watch over You]’; and ‘They
will lift you up on their
hands, So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’” Jesus
said to him, “On the other hand, it is written and forever remains written, ‘You
shall not test the Lord your God.’” Again, the devil
took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the
world and the glory [splendor, magnificence, and excellence] of them; and
he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship
me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written
and forever remains written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve
Him only.’” Then the devil left Him; and angels came
and ministered to Him [bringing Him food and serving Him]. (Amp)
Holy Spirit I asked
that You anoint the heart of the readers to be blessed with Your word in Jesus
name and let them have a new revelation of the Son of God, amen.
This word is right from the heart of God
to us all; He want us to live a good life, God’s utmost purpose for life is a
meaningful one, so that life will be fulfilled and be happy.
God almighty loved the world He created
and all that dwells therein so much that He gave His one and only begotten Son
(Jesus) to save. That is love full of grace and compassion; the unconditional
love of God without exception.
Now I want you to know that “YOU DESERVE TO LIVE A GOOD LIFE” say it
to yourself and make it loud, that’s right. You deserve it in fulfillment of
God’s purpose for your life. In emphasis God is a good God, and He is a Father
indeed.
Jesus the Son of God is the Footstep to
follow in fulfilling God’s purpose for ones destiny. From the scripture above
Jesus was led in the spirit by God Matt. 4v1 “Then was Jesus led up of the
spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil”. I want you to know that
Jesus Christ the Son of God experienced going through the wilderness that is
after His baptism in Bethabara beyond Jordan by John the Baptist; Jesus also
have to cross that path of the river just like Joshua and his men did cross to the
Promised Land. After the declaration of His Father in Matthew 3vs17-18, then
the Spirit led Him up into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. God
almighty is no respecter of persons even unto His son, but not to disgrace Him
rather to show His omnipotent power, signs and wonders, so that His Son Whom He
had crucified in His own heart before the foundation the world might be
glorified at the end and the end is that you and I may live a better life.
To be continued.
